Jakarta, Juni 2024 – At the moment of Eid al-Adha 1445 H, the Indonesian Ajinomoto Group shared kindness by donating sacrificial animals (kurban) to the environment around the Indonesian Ajinomoto Group in various regions. This year, the Ajinomoto Indonesia Group donated sacrificial animals to 25 mosques, prayer rooms and surrounding communities located around Jakarta Head Office, Mojokerto Factory, Karawang Factory, Jakarta Branch Office, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, Depo Bandung, Cirebon, Bogor, Banten, Lampung, Palembang, Kediri, Magelang, Pare Pare, Banjarmasin, Pekanbaru, Semi Depo Solo, Madiun, Tegal, Aceh, Tebing Tinggi, Padang, and Riau.

Through amil kurban at mosques, prayer rooms and surrounding communities, the meat of sacrificial animals then distributed to local communities who need the most. This activity is a form of concern for the Ajinomoto Indonesia Group which expected to foster and increase social awareness.

"This donation (kurban) activity has become our commitment every year to continue sharing with those in need at the surrounding environment. This activity shows Ajinomoto's commitment to contributing positively to society, especially during important moments like Eid al-Adha. The value of social care conveyed in the kurban activity means for strengthening ties with the community around our office.

This year, apart from sacrificial animals, we also provide Ajinomoto product packages which contain seasonings from Masako®, SAORI®, Sajiku®, and Ajinomoto Terasi to people who receive kurban meat. We hope that kurban donations and additional products that we provide can help local communities to get delicious-nutritious food and be a blessing for all of us," said Grant Senjaya, Head of Corporate Communications Ajinomoto.

This kurban donation activity was also appreciated by representatives of amil kurban at mosques, prayer rooms, as well as the community around the offices, factories, depo, and semi depo of Ajinomoto Indonesia Group.
